Today was a travel day. As usual, I showed up to the airport at the recommended time (in this case two hours before the flight) and spent two minutes checking in, and had to wait 1.5 hours before they even opened security to go to the gate.
The flight was pleasant until the end. If you’ve been reading, you know that I have a cold by this point, so on the descent, my ears were not popping and I could feel the pressure and the hearing loss. I was able to get the left ear to equalize, but the right ear was stubborn right down to the ground. Finally, I managed to get the right ear mostly equalized, but I wouldn’t recommend flying when you have a cold.
After getting my room in the hostel changed to a quieter one and after a little orientation walk around El Calafate, I headed to sleep off more of my cold.
